Even though this session isn’t a bridal or engagement session, we just had to share it! Jodi Miller Photography and Josh Gooden Cinematography teamed up for a fashion shoot inspired by the movie “Atonement” at the Swannanoa Mansion in Afton, VA. Josh styled the entire session and found the gorgeous model, Becca Van Cleave. We absolutely love the result!

We absolutely LOVE the green dress Becca is wearing in the second part of the shoot and it got us thinking, why not wear a fabulous colored dress for your wedding? It would save money and have a lot more personality than your typical white gown. Click here to see a bride who actually did wear a green Gucci dress for her wedding!

We love her hair.

The back of this dress is so stunning! Plus, doesn’t the location looks like something out of a fairy tale?

Head over to Josh’s blog to read the story behind the photos. Plus, there are so many more gorgeous images on both Josh and Jodi’s blogs.

So funny! I was just checking this out on Jodi’s blog yesterday or the day before! Too funny! Great minds enjoy the same photography, right? 🙂

I like the way you organized this post- with the everyday outfit first and then leading into the green dress. It wasn’t organized that way in the other post and I like how fluid this is in contrast.

Either way, gorgeous shoot, and totally hit the nail on the head.

Love the heck out of this! I mean this model… this model is fantastic. REDONK beautiful. And I’m a little obsessed with the typewriter images at the tippy top. Love details like that. Great post!
