Today’s wedding is a sweet backyard affair, sent to us by Emma Salom. Jen and Red’s wedding was a true labor of love, with their niece baking the cake and cupcakes, a friend catering the food, and Alfred and Emma donating the photography. Jen herself DIY’d the flowers, the button boutonniere, and the initials that hung over the entrance to the backyard!

Jen also semi-DIY’d her dress! She took a dress she had bought and made some changes, like adjusting the hem to reveal the tulle underneath and changing the top to be a sweetheart. We love how it turned out!

Jen and Red wanted to keep everything casual, so they served the food buffet style, and used mason jars as drinking glasses.

The favors were little jars containing a slice of a lemon tart and a mocha bar!

So sweet! And we are impressed that it was done on a shoestring budget. To see more, click here.

I kept saying "Look at that! Cute" as I viewed these pictures. It looks like it was a fun, unique and memorable occasion hosted by very nice people! Love the colors and the freshness of it all. Very summertime.
