Cooking Bridal Shower with Cooking Lessons

Their Story

Meals can be a very daunting task for anyone to create, let alone a newlywed. Natalie from Love in October created this cooking themed photo shoot to show off a great way to learn how to cook with all your closest girl friends.  Inspired by her newly engaged friend who was so excited to get married and learn how to cook, Natalie decided to combine a cooking bridal shower with cooking lessons.  She wanted a tea party feel with a touch of farmer’s markets, so she found a rustic backdrop and used a feminine color palette. We love the result! Guest were give a unique apron and the ingredients to help create the brides favorite desserts – cupcakes and donuts! For favors each guest was given a mason jar filled with little heart shaped shortbread cookies with pink and white frosting, yummy! The tags read ‘kiss the cook, she’s cute’ and ‘I heart confetti cookies’. Once all the baking was done the guest sat down to the fabulous desserts from the dessert bar as well as the goodies they made. What a way to end are hard day of baking!
