Their Story
This summer Josh and I (Ellen) wanted to have family portraits done. We haven’t had any professional photos taken of the two of us since our engagement photos back in 2005 (in non-wedding attire that is). We decided to do a really simple shoot that wasn’t over styled–something that we could look back on and not think “what was going through our heads when we did this”. I wanted to incorporate things that we enjoy doing–Josh really loves to mountain bike and we have a Saturday morning ritual of walking down to the beach with coffee and donuts. So we decided on a shoot at the beach with a bike! Our friend Rosie of Simply Rosie Photography was down in the Seattle area for a few weeks this summer so she not only took the photos, but also found the super cute bike at a flea market!Gallery

October 12, 2011 at 4:40 amSuper sweet! Kudos to you and Josh for prioritizing the relationship between the two of you and preserving this time together on film! It’s important too, even if it’s not your wedding day, or your engagement, or maternity portrait time! It’s all YOUR LIFE! And it’s ALL IMPORTANT! 🙂
