We LOVE rustic weddings–from the color to the decorations they always make our hearts flutter and put a smile on our faces! Jason and Cara had just this type of wedding.Their beautiful wedding was captured by Nathan Westerfield Photography. Here is a little bit from the bride: This whole whirlwind adventure began just two months before our actual wedding when Jason proposed at what I believed to be a friend’s birthday party, in a barn where he and our friends had created the most incredibly well-suited atmosphere for my rustic tastes. The night was perfect, including Anthropologie-esque decor, a string section, songs he’d written for me, and a celebration with our friends and ice cream following the proposal.

With the exception of the caterers for the reception, Pinkberry Yogurt and Darlene’s Kakes of Nashville and Flourgirls Bakery of Goodlettesville, everything else in our wedding was created by Jason, me, or any number of our incredible friends and coworkers.
