Hello lovely Love and Lavender readers! I’m Jillian, the editor of Pretty Little Weddings, and I am honored to be guest posting for one of my favorite wedding resources as Ellen enjoys her maternity leave.
I know that many of you—between sipping eggnog and unwrapping presents, donning glittering dresses and popping champagne—are newly engaged. Soon, you’ll be celebrating by planning your engagement session. And if you’d like your session to include props, this post will be for you.
Here, I’d like to share with you a few memorable engagement sessions from Pretty Little Weddings and the special props couples used to enhance their images.

Kelsi and Matt snuck some snuggling into their session when they wrapped themselves in an American flag. The couple also donned red, white and blue, celebrating their American and English heritage.
