You may think of this time of the year as the holidays (and that’s true) but it can also be called engagement season! Did you know that one third of all couples get engaged in the time between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day? Just another reason to love this time of year–delicious warm drinks, time spent with loved ones, snow sparkling on the ground…and perhaps a new ring sparkling on your left hand! Both of us have always loved looking at rings and dreaming of the one that we would wear proudly one day. We were the kind of girls who read bridal magazines and bookmarked our favorites long before we were even in serious relationships. If we saw a stranger at the store with an especially beautiful or unique ring, we’d be craning our necks to get a good look at it. Now that we’re married, that still hasn’t changed! Although we’re no longer looking for ourselves, a lovely ring can still take our breath away (and make us gawk at a stranger’s hand for a little too long).

We are usually drawn to rings that have a lot of sparkly little diamonds and pretty details…and lately, we’ve especially been loving rose gold! It’s more unique than platinum, white gold, or yellow gold (although those are lovely too!)…and it’s perfectly fitting for a vintage-style ring, don’t you think?
