Yellow definitely one of our favorite colors. Combine that with rustic details and a vintage you have a dream wedding! That is exactly what Jessica and Andy put together for their special day, with help from Verge Events. Here is what Verge Events had to say about this couple’s day: We chose mustard yellow and chocolate brown as the main colors, with touches of blue. Jessica wanted mismatched china, a one of a kind cake topper and some vintage and rustic inspired details to bring together the day. So I found for her some beautiful glassware from the Hwy 127 “World’s longest yard sale” and mixed it with local thrift store finds to make up her collection. I made her cake topper out of a birds nest with thistle and moss, topped with a yellow and a blue bird to represent Jessica and Andy. Her “guestbook” was a collaboration of her want for a thumb print tree~so I took it a step further and crafted an actual tree for guests to print and sign a leaf, then attach to the tree with miniature clothes pins. Guests also had tissues for “happy tears” during the ceremony and received homemade smores as their favor at the end of the evening.
