Whimsical Hawaiian Wedding
It’s super cold out here in Seattle so today’s post brought in some warmth! Autumn and Jason got married in HAWAII (lucky)! We love all their fun details, super cute signs, and the beautiful photography by Tamiz Photography. We are also huge fans of how they me, but I will let the bride tell you herself!
Whimsical Hawaiian Wedding – Bride’s Remarks
“We met unofficially when I was 12 and he was the dreamy ski patrol that used to cut the lift lines. I would watch him all googly-eyed, while I would nudge my fellow tweens as we all drooled over our ski poles. He obviously didn’t have a clue as to who I was because frankly that would have been a little creepy since he is 12 years my senior. Fast forward 12 years and 2500 miles away from my home town of Hood River, Oregon. I was working for a family in Sprecks as a nanny and they were having some construction work done on an ohana of theirs, I was asked if I could go over and help move some furniture and when I walked in Jason was standing in front of me. I couldn’t believe my eyes and immediately I reverted back into that 12 year old, standing in disbelief that my teenage heart throb was now standing in front of me – pretty embarrassing!”
I would never have thought to include a popcorn machine at a wedding reception, but somehow this one just works! That dessert table looks so scrumptious that I would probably gain 5 pounds just looking at it.
Can anyone share the location of this wedding?
What a great place to get married – if you have the opportunity 😉
And maybe even an opportunity to catch a wave or two before or after the wedding celbration!
Thanks,
Chris
Where in Hawaii is this? 🙂 Lovely wedding!
What a fantastic story, and such a gorgeous wedding!
hunny buckets? I don’t eve know what that means other than the Winnie the Pooh misspelling reference, which makes me what the squeal with delight because it’s so cute, therefore, I must have it, NOW! lol
