We have a treat for you all today! Jayson and Jennifer had an intimate and romantic wedding, sent to us by the lovely Emily Heizer Photography.
Intimate and Romantic Wedding
Bride’s Remarks: “The groom isn’t terribly fond of crowds, and the couple wanted to keep things more intimate, so they only had about 30 people in attendance at their ceremony, with their remaining 100 guests arriving just for the reception. This kept things personal, and more family oriented, while still allowing for a great big wonderful party.”
What a perfect way to balance a small wedding and big wedding, for those of you who are having trouble nailing down a guest list!
Table assignments were written on vintage windows hung under an arbor. We couldn’t help but notice that a “Mark Wahlberg” was a guest…
Jennifer wore her mother’s veil, which they soaked in a bathtub in order to get clean enough to wear on the big day! She looked gorgeous in it.
Chandeliers hung from trees, and were lit after dark. Jennifer and Jayson cut into a cake for themselves, but served their guests a delightfully rich chocolate mousse mini cake for dessert, rather than slices of a traditional wedding cake. Yum!
During couple’s portraits, the bride and groom went on a solo rowboat ride around the pond at the Inn – much to the delight of their guests, who quickly spotted them and began to gather on the shore to cheer them on.
