We LOVE this wedding in Kennewick — not just because their day was beautiful, but because this is a bride that is all about DIY and budget (right up our alley)! Jenna had a tight budget but still was able to put together a breathe-taking wedding with the help of family and friends!
Advice From Jenna: “Pray that your mom will be oh-so-willing as mine was to put her whole life on hold. She was my wingman (or really I was her wingman) and she took my vision and ran with it. I could not have done it without her. She taught me to look at all my options and not to choose something or someone because it was already known to be the best. Chances are someone else is out there who is just as good looking for a window of opportunity and are ready to wow you.”
“Being on a budget is hard; when anything gets labelled with “wedding” the price doubles. More importantly than budgeting, don’t be afraid to spend money where it counts. Use your budget for things that will last such as photography. Tonhya Kae Photography captured every moment and more. She froze time and captured my perfect day so I can re-live it every time I look at my photos. Spend the rest of your budget on creating an experience: good food, music, and the dress! The blood, sweat, and tears of you and your closest friends can do the decorations and smaller details.”
