We really like the this wedding at Darlington House, California. We don’t know if it’s the colors, the flowers (aren’t they gorgeous?!) or the overall feel of Lindy and Brandon’s special day but we are drawn to this wedding!
More from the Bride: “My idea for the ceremony was Bohemian Elegence. I wanted something that felt timeless, but also reflected our love for travel. A mix of old and new, with a splash of whimsy. I also really love crystals, so we incorporated them in subtle places, from the invitations to the table settings to the bouquet and dessert cards. We used the globe as a guest book, where everyone left us well wishes or they tagged where they had come from and some even noted places we traveled together. It was a very small and intimate wedding so every menu was personalized which I loved. Lastly, I really wanted a champagne gold runner and we couldn’t find any so I picked out some fabric and my Mom handmade all of them!”
Advice for Future Brides
“My advice for brides would be to utilize Pinterest to set your theme and color pallet for your wedding, but try to keep everything in perspective to your budget and venue. I had my heart set on a few pins that just were too expensive to execute, so you just have to prioritize what will have a big impact first as it is easy to get carried away. It is a fantastic tool to show vendors your vision and I have no idea how brides managed before Pinterest existed!”
