I think what drew me to Kris and Jill’s wedding was the beauty of the peach and succulent details. I love the outdoor, vintage feeling of the entire day.
Audubon Center Wedding
Bride’s Comments: “Kris and I planned our wedding in just about 5 months, which turned out to be perfect as it made us focus on what elements of the day were most important. We decided on the Audubon Center immediately after seeing it. Admittedly, I had that place scouted out well before the ring! From it’s rustic charm – the apple orchard where we said our vows officiated by my brother – to the restored barn where we had cocktail hour, and the open air pavilion that housed our reception.”
“Having such a beautiful natural backdrop allowed us to go pretty minimal on decor, which we kept whimsical, vintage, and personal with lots of family heirlooms. I most treasured the few moments of ‘alone time,’ or as close as you can get to that at your own wedding – the first look, the first dance, at our sweetheart’s table through dinner, little stolen moments. They kept me grounded to what the day was all about amongst all the fanfare. The whole day was filled with so much love and joy and felt so ‘us’ that we still reflect back on how it was as close to perfect as we ever could have wished.”
