Friday is finally here! It has been a long, tough week on my end and I am happy to see the weekend come! Today’s wedding definitely brightened up my day, so I am hoping it will do the same to you. Hayley and Frank and had fun diy bicycle wedding with bright colors and lots of bikes! Kelly Maughan Photography did a fabulous job capturing every detail of their special day!
DIY Bicycle Wedding
Here is what Hayley said about her day: “When Frank and I were planning our wedding we really wanted it to feel romantic, intimate, fun and true to who we are. It was important to us that the ceremony was special and heartfelt, which is why we decided to write our own vows. Frank blew everyone away with his beautiful words, grown men were brought to tears and every lady there wanted to marry him. Another really important detail was the music, I am very conscious of music during poignant moments in my life and I wanted our ceremony to have a beautiful soundtrack, we chose every song together.”
“For the decor, I had a vision of neutral tones and bright flowers, vintage vases, mason jars, and twinkly lights. My mother, being her creative self, took that vision and ran with it. She added little touches, like the bicycles, because we got engaged on a bike ride in the same park where our wedding took place. She spent months collecting, crafting, sewing, stenciling, painting, printing and framing everything that was used to decorate the gorgeous lodge. We love her. Overall, we wanted the day to feel easy and full of love, just an evening spent with all the people we love the most in the world.”
