This Chicago cityscape engagement shoot is too perfect – these could be scenes taken from a movie. These photos fall in line and depict a fast paced love story: boy meets girl, boy ask girl out, and then boy goes in for his first kiss. Okay, so these two are not on their first date but you can definitely see the love and playfulness in their relationship.
They used the Chicago skyline as a backdrop and then finished up in a dimly lit swanky bar that created a romantic and intimate evening for two. Karen and John’s engagement shoot was capture by the bride-to-be sister Made to be Mine , which made the day even more special.
Chicago Cityscape Engagement Shoot ~ Remarks
Here is what the photographer Made to be Mine had to say: “In all the fury of planning, Karen (Bride to be) and I have been trying to organize a date in the city to do the engagement pictures. The holidays pushed it back, and thankfully, the weather did not. On a crisp day in January we set out. I was ridiculously nervous, but I was surprisingly unemotional. I just got in the zone and let them be together and just have fun. When I got home I immediately uploaded the pictures and couldn’t stop staring. Karen and John are beautiful people but they’re also my family, it was unreal how it felt.
The style, beauty, and love in these pictures is unmatched. They are flawless to me and I am very excited, because we’re doing a round two in the spring. It’s going to be amazing.”
