After a 16 month engagement, a very long wedding planning process, some blood, sweat and tears, and an amazing day with memories that will last a life time, all is finally said and done for my wedding. My husband and I are officially married and exhausted! We both feel as if we need a vacation after the vacation, but isn’t that always the way once you get home and reality hits – you have to fend for yourself, make your own bed and cook your own meals. It is quite mean really!
It was great to get away for a honeymoon, but I am excited to be back and move forward with L&L. The last five months have been consumed by my own wedding planning process. I’m sure all you brides out there can vouch for the amount of actual work that it takes to pull off a wedding day. Tell the truth, who sits at their desk at work with an internet browser open for Pinterest solely for the purpose to gather more ideas for your wedding? No fibbing – I can bet most of you are nodding yes! I look forward to getting back to business and blogging my heart out about the emotions of the entire wedding process.
On our honeymoon cruise, we randomly met a few folks in the wedding industry. They had been in the wedding industry for 33 years and it was interesting to hear their perceptive on how the wedding industry has changed. This gave me the boost that I needed to hear from professionals in the industry and their perspective. I look forward to speaking with more wedding professionals and finding solution for brides and grooms as well as wedding vendors.
