The past year was an amazing year for Love & Lavender. I enjoyed transitioning the brand and learning the ropes of the wedding blog industry. I know that 2015 will be an equally wonderful year for L&L, especially since my own wedding has passed and I have more time to dedicate to serving you better!
Real wedding features are the heart and soul of this blog and each one is uniquely special. I would love to have a Top 365 Real Weddings of the year post today, but I must settle for a top 10 list.
There have been many wonderful weddings featured on L&L over the years, as you can see from 2010, 2011, 2012, & 2013, and 2014 was no exception. We received so many submissions in 2014 that, sadly, we could not possibly share them all with you! However, we saved a few for the 2015 wedding season and will showcase them over the next few months.
We took a discerning look at the comments, emails, stats, and all the wonderful messages we received over the course of the year. Without further ado, I present Love & Lavender’s official Top 10 Real Weddings of 2014!

Some weddings just have that “je ne sais quois?” about them and this southern rustic wedding with lanterns is one of them!||Jessi Nichols made it two out of the top three! It’s always great when a bride gets creative and uses what they have, especially integrating family heirlooms.|
Lovely Quote: “At the end of the day, you will be married. Don’t get too carried away with all the minor details and stress of wedding planning and lose sight of what matters most.”
If you are a fan of love bird themes and anything pink, you will be head-over-heels in love with our #1 wedding of the year. Congrats to Kristen Nicole Photography for the wonderful submission!
