Today’s modern romantic styled shoot is filled with beauty, elegance, romance, and prettiness. It reminds me of a fairytale like Beauty and the Beast for some reason. I’m on an antique ring kick as of late, and I absolutely adore the jewelry by Avindy that this bride is wearing throughout the styled shoot.
Look out for the loose green ribbon on the bouquet. I received an email yesterday saying that they are a top bridal floral trends for 2015! Instead of wrapping the ribbon tight around the bouquet stems and securing with a head pin, choose velvet, faille, taffeta or silk and tie around the unwrapped or wrapped stems. Let the ribbon trail down from the bouquet.
Comments from the photographer: “Savannah, of Bushel & Peck, and I put the shoot together. We wanted to use whimsical, romantic details in an overall pure modern environment. Simple place settings with large centerpieces and unique chairs. Delicately braided hair with interwoven flowers. Minimalist invitations, a raw cut engagement ring, and lots of flowers. We saw our bride as a modernist with eccentric taste and a soft spot for feminine details.”
