Love & Lavender is all about outdoor weddings! We think there is no better place to say “I-Do” than in the great outdoors.
What I love most about an outdoor wedding ceremony is a less is more approach. It can be fun to outfit an entire backyard with lanterns, pictures, drapery, and lights to emphasize a grandiose celebratory occasion. However, some couples may be stuck with only a fence and a few trees, or perhaps the venue isn’t even your own property and you aren’t allowed to hammer nails into that lovely sturdy oak tree.
Here is another use for Sugru on your big day – DIY rubber hooks that will stick to virtually anything, including the lovely tree below!
DIY Rubber Hook Instructions
Supplies: Sugru . That’s all. No nails, no hammers, and no drilling!
Tip: You don’t need to use a lot of Sugru. You could be able to make 5 hooks from one package of Sugru.
Open the package of Sugru and split it into 5 equal amounts.
Roll out a small ball of Sugru (about pea-sized). Each ball will form 1 hook.
Take a tiny amount of Sugru and smear it to your chosen surface, then take the remainder of the ball and stick it to the smear and shape it into a hook shape.
After 24 hours, your hook will turn into rubber and is ready for use to decorate with whatever you decide!
Here are a couple more cool way to decorate your outdoor space with Sugru!
