Wedding Story

Love story from our Bride …

“Chris owns a toy store called Tons of Toys in Madison, NJ.  Denise works for the Borough of New Providence, but occasionally babysat for a family in Chatham on the weekends. The mom that Denise babysat for used to shop in the toy store frequently and decided to set them up on a blind date. The rest is history! We dated for 4 years before we got engaged and got married 9 months later.”

Wedding Inspiration – Rustic Elegance

Denise always wanted a rustic/barn wedding her whole life. Her grandfather owned a farm and passed away a few years ago, so a barn setting was sentimental to her. Chris has always been an outdoorsy/athletic person, which meant a rustic outdoor wedding was the perfect fit for these two.

They decided on Jack’s barn in Oxford – it simply exudes rustic, antique charm. Most of the decor you see below was created by Denise and her twin sister including the lace table runners, table numbers, the outdoor ceremony space, along with a painted chandelier that they hung from the arbor. The wedding guests received colored sunglasses to wear for the ceremony from Chris’s toy store!
