We love the clean and minimalist design theme of greenery meets marble. Just the right amount of styling really makes this shoot stand out from the crowd. Modern, industrial elements combine with feminine, natural flowers to create a unique look.
The multi-colored candle idea with varying blue hues provides an easy and affordable way for brides to fill their tablescapes without spending a fortune on florals!
The marble accents of this shoot added a unique POP to the place settings. We love that the hexagonal marble place card tiles could be taken home by guests as personalized coaster favors. Check out the selection of similar marble place cards from Etsy.
DIY Marble Place Card
Or, go the DIY route and make yourself some marble place cards. Using only gorgeous Italian marble hexagon tiles and metallic Sharpies, you can easily hand letter hexagon tile place cards. They are a quick DIY project that won’t cost you much. A sheet of 12 tiles costs as little as $15!
The above link takes you to Amazon where you can get a sheet of the 4″ tiles. They also sell other dimensions such as 2, 3, or 5 inch tiles, but we think the 4 inch work well.
Steps to DIY your marble place cards
- Remove tiles from the mesh backing
- Sand off any excess glue using by gently using a nail file
- Write guests’ names using a metallic Sharpie
TIP: If you make a mistake with the metallic Sharpie, use nail polish remover to get rid of your mistake
That’s it! You’ve got yourself some custom geometric inspired place cards that work well as a coaster too!
