The Ultimate List of Popular Designer Bridal Shoes 2022
When it comes to designer bridal shoes for your wedding there are a handful of specific designers that we see brides wear over and over again. And clearly designers have kept winning designs around for many seasons with only minor tweaks – brides love them so much!
Some of these designers have even carved out a niche market; they’ve built out a bridal section on their website and are now dominating in the bridal footwear arena.
Bridal Shoe Help
When my cousin got engaged, I let her know that if she needed any help with her wedding planning from afar, to simply email me and ask. I like to think that running a wedding blog means I have a little bit of extra knowledge and insight into what’s going on in the wedding industry!
A month and a half before her wedding day my cousin sent me a quick IM asking if ‘I knew of any good websites to buy wedding shoes’. I responded with my recommendation, and then I thought about how many other brides there must be who have the very same thought.
It inspired me to keep this post updated regularly to help other brides in their search.
A Discussion on Price
There are a few staples that every woman should have in her wardrobe. Designer shoes are one of them!
Spending $500 on a pair of exquisite heels is probably not an annual purchase for most of us. When it comes to wedding day attire, splurging on a new pair of designer label pumps is completely acceptable – a right of passage moment in life. Mums the word if your groom-to-be asks the actual price. 😉
If you are a bride on a budget though, don’t panic, some designers have even gone as far as creating an affordable line (some even look like knock-offs of high end designer shoes), so that all brides are able to strut down the aisle and say I-Do’s in fancy new shoes.

Tips for Picking Designer Bridal Shoes
- Choose a heel height that you are most comfortable walking in. A wider heel base provides more stability and support.
- Bring your shoes to your dress fitting to ensure the hemline will be the right length.
- Break-in shoes long before the big day. If they seem a little tight, wear socks to slightly stretch them out.
- New shoes can sometimes be slippery. Avoid red carpet mishaps by scuffing the bottom soles with sand paper, providing more traction.
- Wearing heels from the ceremony until the last dance can be a long time. Have a back up pair of flats that you can wear just in case.
- Whether you decide to splurge or buy a pair of shoes off the clearance rack, pick a pair of shoes that are sensible and that you can wear more than once.
