Wedding Story
Photographer’s Comments: “It was a gorgeous early fall day when Caitlyn and Jordan gathered with their friends and family at their wedding to celebrate their commitment to each other. I was so honored when this sweet beautiful bride asked me to photograph her special day. She was the maid of honor in the very first wedding I ever photographed. I felt so blessed to get to work with her and those closest to her again. I was excited before the day even began!
“When I arrived, I met Caitlyn and her bridesmaids, then quickly started capturing the beautiful details of the day amid the flurry of getting ready activity. The day seemed to go by in a blur, and yet have moments of slow motion, all at the same time. Some moments that stand out are when the bridesmaids prayed over Catilyn before the ceremony…the special love and tenderness between this couple…the touching and humble speeches made by the groom’s Best Men who are also his brothers. Not gonna lie, I had to work to keep back the tears!
“Caitlyn and Jordan met in college, while he was referring a basketball game she was playing in. Rumor has it he made a call she didn’t agree with and the rest as they say is history. His family knew she was “they one” the first time he brought her home. Their families have become close friends and even take vacations together.
“While Caitlyn played basketball, Jordan was a baseball player and avid golfer. They incorporated elements of both of these hobbies into their wedding. They guys played golf the morning of the ceremony and of course had to get a super fun shot with the golf carts! The couple made a wooden home plate sign for their guestbook. After they prepared the sign, a local sign printer personalized it for them. They also took the time to create the burnt wood numbers for the tables. They did a beautiful job of using their skills and working with local vendors to create a beautifully decorated, personalized wedding.
“The love and caring shared by this couple and their friends and families was something very special witness. Jordan and Caitlyn placed their faith at the heart of their ceremony with a beautiful cord ceremony, ‘A cord of three strands is not easily broken’ – Ecc. 4:9-12
“With Christ as the center of their relationship, I can’t wait to see where life takes this beautiful couple.”
A huge shout out to this amazing bride tracking and for all credit she gave to all her vendors!
