A lot of weddings have been showcased this past year with pops of gold glitter. I’m guilty of adding gold glitter in my own wedding back in August. So, I thought it was time to show off this fun glitz and glam styled shoot that showcases silver glitter and flecks of metallic throughout.
What better place than New York City as a backdrop for a styled shoot about glam!?
Dress Designer Remarks
“With the hard and urban feel of the city backdrop at CityView Racquet Club, I wanted to soften the edges and still keep the glitz and glam of a city wedding. I chose to incorporate a watercolor element through the invitations, flowers, and dresses to add the softness.
“The dresses mimicked the flowers and the ombre napkins created unison for the photo shoot. The chandeliers, candles, and classic table settings with the printed gem menu cards helped add an elegance and glamour to an urban landscape.
“I really enjoyed being able to juxtapose the hard and soft elements for this modern but feminine inspiration shoot. The venue also provided a perfect backdrop to showcase how Durga-Kali dresses could easily transition from wedding day to girls night out.”

Love the metallic silver theme of the dessert table below! Cute penguin pops seem to fit in so well with this cool-tone monochrome color scheme. And, who doesn’t love the look of scrumptious cupcakes displayed on individual stands?
