Wedding Story
Photographer’s Remarks: “Kate & Slava were married September 16th 2017. Their ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful family farm venue Willow Creek Farms. They were married in front of the gorgeous pond with the property’s grand home as their backdrop.
“Their whole day was simple and beautiful. Kate’s mom made handmade jars of delicious jam for their favors. Their tables were adorned with greenery, candles, and simple place settings. Their head table sat in front of a gorgeous golden ring and greenery decor that suited the barn style so perfectly and added a touch of elegance.
“These two also have a very diverse family. Slave is from Moldova and Kate is from California. They both met here in Illinois and so decided to have their US wedding here and their families came from all over the world to be with them. It was incredible to be a part of such a diverse event and to get hear and see both cultures come together in the name of love. They also had a second wedding in Moldova and they got to do it all over again there! How fun is that?!
“I just loved being a part of their special day and their photos are some of my favorites I have ever shot.”
