Kelly & Steven

Wedding at Patrick Ranch Museum

Chico, CA

Elegant Traditional Vintage

L&L Remarks

What happens when it rains on your wedding day?  You prepare for it, embrace it, and outfit your bridal party with cute clear umbrellas!

This wedding ceremony took place in front of the Patrick Ranch Museum farm house that dates back to 1877.  The venue was built in 1938 for the owner’s wife to celebrate their long marriage and is surrounded by massive redwoods, giant oak trees, and even has a fountain! So, even though it may rain on your wedding day, having a lucky fountain nearby will undoubtedly bring you a touch of good luck.

I get so many frantic emails about these beautiful beaded bridesmaids gowns from readers, wondering where they can get their hands on them.  After a lot of searching, I finally have the answer! These stunning gowns are from the designer Adrianna Papell, and go by the name Beaded Mesh Blouson. You can find these pretty dresses directly on her namesake site, AdiannaPapell.com.  Hope this helps!

Wedding Story

Bride’s Comments: “I would say that our wedding was very classic and traditional, but rustic and somewhat romantic at the same time. The Patrick Ranch Museum was a beautiful background with it’s historic charm and natural surroundings for our Spring wedding.

“The greatest impact came from the amazing neutral toned florals and the branch and lantern light installation. Although the rain could have spoiled the day, it really added to the overall look and feel. Wearing a faux fur stole and using umbrellas made it very personal and the day all our own.”

Hi there, I am on a desperate mission to find out where these bridesmaids dresses came from. Is there any way I can find out? Thanks 🙂
