Wedding Story
Photographer’s Comments: “It’s a relationship that started with a three hour philosophical conversation over coffee (I mean, don’t they all?). Next thing you know, there I was, capturing a John Lennon, Yoko Ono, earthy toned, and boho inspired engagement session.
“I wasn’t surprised that they were able to perfectly mix in luscious greens and a touch of industrial to create the perfect atmosphere for their wedding day. Not only do they have an amazing style, but they are the kindest people. April has a sweet and gentle soul complimented by Chris’ kind persona.
“They decided to have a smaller, more intimate wedding celebration. It turned out to be the perfect mix of casual, fun and absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere in the Ottawa Room at the Oliver House fit their style and the dance floor in the Historic Lobby fit their guests perfectly.
“During the reception, Chris surprised April by singing ‘Wish You Were Here’ by Pink Floyd during their first dance. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
“It’s hard not to feel the love when you are surrounded with the deep connection that these two have. It makes my job that much more meaningful.”
