Robin Egg Blue Color Perfect for a Summer Wedding

St. Lucas, IA

Black Tie Optional DIY Traditional

L&L Remarks

We love the bold color scheme of today’s featured wedding with robin egg blue & shades of violet! Check out the striking bridal bouquet and floral arrangements, together with bridesmaid dresses in robin egg blue and matching colored neckties for the guys.

Robin Egg Blue vs Tiffany Blue

What’s the difference?

Well according to Wikipedia, Tiffany Blue is the trademarked name for the light medium tone of robin egg blue associated with Tiffany & Co., the famous jewelry company that every girl dreams about.

So that’s why I find it so difficult to distinguish between the two! You really have to be a color expert to see the nuance of one tone versus another.

For all intents, you can just say that anything in today’s featured wedding is either Tiffany blue or robin egg blue. I won’t tell if you won’t!!

Things to look for

  • Gorgeous gals in robin egg blue (Tiffany blue) bridesmaid dresses. And, dashing gents in gray suits and neckties!
  • I love the allure of the rhinestone edge veil above. If you want a similar look, we do custom veils at our sister site Classicveils.com

Wedding Story

Photographer’s Comments: “The day was overcast and warm as we arrived in Saint Lucas, Iowa. The breeze picked up perfectly and the sun began to peek from behind the clouds. As Brittany approached Brock for their reveal the wind was blowing just slightly enough to catch her veil, completing her perfection from head to toe.

“Their ring bearer had waited his whole life for this role (all 4 years!) and it showed from the moment he walked down the aisle, well into our group photographs.

“After the ceremony we visited the property where her grandfather built a pond many years ago, capturing memories that are beginning their future, in front of a space that has such a great meaning from the past. This was the last day they spent together with Grandma before she passed, and it was filled with beautiful memories of her, the bridal party and their family and friends.”
