Photographer Remarks: “We love weddings with beautiful colors, especially if the colors are coral, pink, orange and touches of teal here and there. This bride and groom chose Chota Falls, in the North Georgia Mountains, for their special day. This gorgeous estate is one of the premier wedding venues in the State of Georgia. With it’s 100 acres there are so many beautiful places for the photography of a wedding. “Their ceremony was held beneath the 100 foot waterfall. Their wedding was a perfect combination of rustic and elegance. “The bride’s bouquet was truly a piece of art and set off her lovely dress. This couple was a pure delight to photograph and we really enjoyed being part of their wedding day. “One of the most fun parts of the night was when two of the bridesmaids did a rap instead of a speech. Everyone loved it! It sure made the speeches a little bit different from the usual.”
Bridal Q & A
Highlights from the ceremony and reception
“Sharing a secret meeting with my future husband before the ceremony and having happy tears together. Laughing as we said our vows and how perfect the weather turned out for us. During the reception I loved dancing with my family and sitting around the bonfire after.”
What did you give your bridesmaids as a gift?
I gave them a personalized bag with their initials in teal that included a tank top of their favorite animal on it, homemade necklace that they could also wear during the ceremony, a personalized name tumbler, and a personalized koozie in chevron pattern in the wedding colors.
They all wore mismatched dresses by Bill Levkoff in a coral color. I let them wear their own shoes, but asked that they all kept to a light tan color.
Describe the Groom’s Attire
The Groom bought his grey Calvin Klein tuxedo from men’s warehouse. He paired it with a tie and vest and wore black shoes.
Our theme was a teal and coral wedding color scheme in a country chic style with touches of burlap.
The groom bought his groomsmen all pocket knives.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Kauai Hawaii. We stayed at an VRBO tree house near tunnel beach.
