We are big fans of St. Patrick’s day — a festive holiday that celebrates with delicious corned beef and Guinness among other treats. The beautiful color scheme of green represents growth, spring, renewal and rebirth. After an extra long winter for many of us, it is refreshing to see this smashing color palette.
Emerald was named Pantone’s color of the year in 2013. Although that seems like ages ago, we haven’t stopped loving this color. To celebrate St. Patricks Day this year, enjoy our Irish Ceilidh wedding inspiration vision board. We imagine colors of emerald green, gold, black and cream, set in an elegant outdoor wedding venue with rolling hills and castle-like steps. With enough Guinness flowing, by the end of the night it will turn into quite the dance party worthy of being the best Irish Ceilidh around!
Irish Ceilidh Wedding Inspiration
Find a venue that has access to a beautiful stone fire place. Decorate with mantel with clear candle holders, cream candles, and a green floral centerpiece. Keep the floral centerpieces green throughout and use creamy white hydrangeas and lilies.
Brass candle holders with black candles add a touch of elegance.
Don’t forget the lucky pot of gold. Use gold touches where you can and if your new last name is short enough, decorate the head table with gold balloons.
